The BEST look and find books!

We love this set of 3 Wimmelbuch books — the 3 books are 1) Animals, 2) Farm and 3) a general one that has a little bit of everything. The illustrations in all of these are detailed, bright and colorful. Especially the big scenes with people have so many things to look for and find, including many funny scenes — very cute. Though the books are German, they are essentially all illustration, so these are great books regardless of language. My 3-year-old gets very immersed in these books, looking for specific things or trying to figure out the story behind some of the scenes. My 10-month-old is starting to look at the pictures more intently as well. We have many other Wimmelbuch books as well and love them all! Wholeheartedly recommend!

Excellent book for child development. You don't really have to know the language to enjoy the books with your children, the fun comes from the very detailed and interesting illustrations.

P.S. Its seems that the pages of hardcover version I ordered are very thick and suited for toddlers (as long as I didn't receive the more expensive board book version by mistake).

Great developmental books for 12+

We simply love wimmelbuchs, my 13 months old keeps bringing them "to read" (he started doing it before he turned a year), he can show cars, trees or any other things that he already knows if you ask him to. We also love to sit together and I (or he) point and name different things on the page. The only thing that I don't like is that in one f the books the animals are named in german, so I had to do my homework and translate them (and write their names down). Other than that the books are great.
